Palma Pascale, composer, arranger, performer, conductor, singer, producer, and very dear friend, left this life on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 in the wee small hours of the morning. By her side was her special friend, talented Frank Rendo. Frank was selfless in his care for Palma, and he was a pillar of strength to all during these most difficult days.

Palma's body will lie in repose on Thursday, September 10 from 2 pm to 5 pm and from 7 pm to 9:00 pm at Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, 47 Jerusalem Ave, Hicksville, NY 11801-4936, tel (516) 931-0262.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday September 11, 10:00 am at Holy Family RC Church, 5 Fordham Ave , Hicksville, NY 11801, tel (516) 938-3846 with Internet at Saint John Cemetery, 8001 Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village, NY 11379, tel (718) 894-4888

Palma composed LOVE ME FOR WHAT I AM, which was recorded by CARPENTERS on their 1975 hit album HORIZON. This was only one of the significant events in Palma's life. Rest in peace, dear Palma. You put smiles on countless faces - touched many with your beautiful songs, magnificent, thought provoking lyrics, and you greatly touched and blessed those who were fortunate enough to get to know you, personally. You will be greatly missed, yet as you said so eloquently: "I'll leave you the music - I'll leave you my soul - All I have, All I love, All I know will remain with you......when I go."
